Privacy Policy

Laadli Parivaar Foundation Trust ("we", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable Indian law.

Information we collect

  • You give us: name, email, phone, postal address, PAN (for tax-exemption receipts), and donation/membership details when you donate, register, volunteer, or contact us.
  • Automatically: basic device and usage data (e.g. pages viewed, approximate performance metrics) to keep the site secure and improve it. Analytics, where enabled, are configured with IP anonymisation.

How we use it

  • To process donations and memberships and issue receipts/certificates.
  • To send you transactional messages (receipts, confirmations) and, where you have opted in, updates about our work.
  • To comply with legal, tax and audit obligations.
  • To maintain the security and integrity of our services.

Payment data

Card and banking details are collected and processed directly by our payment gateway providers over secure channels. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, or banking passwords.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with: (a) payment gateways and service providers acting on our behalf under confidentiality obligations; and (b) authorities where required by law.

Data retention

We keep donation and receipt records for as long as required by tax and audit law, and other data only for as long as necessary for the purposes above.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent for non-essential communications, by emailing contact@laadliparivaar.org. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies for language preference and session security by default. Optional analytics load only if configured, and never carry personally identifying information.
